With the theme Co-Create the Future, this year’s conversations tackled big shifts in health systems like DRGs in the public sector, the role of glucose data in care, and cutting through red tape in regulation.
We delved into the complexities of managing innovation and access to health technologies in South Africa, and explored the critical interplay of pricing, patient access, and regulatory approval, fostering a vital discussion on developing effective strategies within our unique healthcare landscape.
The event sparked critical discussions on the role of patient-reported measurements (PRMs) in improving healthcare delivery across diverse communities. Expert panelists highlighted how PRMs, through precise data collection and analysis, empower patient engagement and drive quality improvements. Key themes included optimising health system performance, supporting universal healthcare coverage, and addressing disparities in healthcare access. The event emphasised the need for compliance, expert input, and strategic PRM design to meet the demands of global healthcare systems.
We celebrated 10 years of impact with the theme "Be the Change." This year, we explored NHI in Africa, mental health and chronic diseases, democratizing health technology, and climate change in insurance. Join us as we shape the future of healthcare.
